Views, Food and Fun

Aloha again friends!

There probably won't be much writing in this one, just photos!

So sit back and take in the Hawaiian life, while not having to put too much effort into reading. Coz that's not how we do it in Hawaii.

My delicious breakfast of oats, peanut butter and banana:

Scored some free pizza on campus!!

After that, we went down to Waikiki where we made flower headbands at Urban Outfitters:

So pretty xxx

Then we went to (the Honolulu Cookie Company and) the Cheesecake Factory for dinner with Georgia's boss.

A small selection of what we were forced to choose from:

One of the hardest choices of my life.
So I got two cheesecakes!

Wow, too excited to even open my eyes.

I got Mango and Key Lime with a coconut macaroon base:

And Red Velvet with White Chocolate shavings around the outside:

I.
Love.
Cheesecake.

My new home:

Georgia's one was the bomb, it was peanut butter chocolate fudge and stuff:

I think I'll get that one next time, as one of my cheesecakes.

Pretty flowers on my headband:

My nails were painted super cool.
One way, they look green/gold:

The other way they're purple and pink!

Thanks MAC.
xoxox

Went for a run the next morning with the power of cheesecakes to fuel me.
I look really good when I run.

My pancakes also looked really good, and they managed to stay in perfect shapes:

So I covered them with stuff to hide their beauty:

Studied for my midterm, and got in my 5+ :

Went to a baseball game, Hawaii vs Oregon I think?

That was cool, just like in the movies!
But there was no one walking round selling hot nuts :(

A bunch of us went to the Chinese New Year Parade in Chinatown to welcome in the year of the ram, my favourite year.

One of the Chinatown princesses:

OMG had to have a good lol when I saw these guys working super hard to enforce the law:

One of them is on his phone, one has a drink from Taco Bell and the other is just checking out Miss Chinatown.

Just like 21 Jump Street, but better!

Me, Naiké and a dragon:

There were heaps of stalls and lots of yummy food, I got some coconut caramel popcorn!

Also got a Ghirardelli Valentines brownie in the shape of a heart <3

A few of us girls went to the movies to see 50 Shades of Grey.
Perfect Valentines day date.
I actually kinda liked it!

When I got back, the YMCA had pinned a little V-Day treat on our doors:

It had peanut butter-filled pink and white M&Ms, so I was stoked!

The next day, we went to a place called Alan Davis where you jump into the water from planks:

That was really fun.
Then walked over to the Makapu'u Beach:

I love palm trees!

Yeah, so we just spent the rest of the day at the beach, it was like paradise.

Ventured to the Diamond Head Cove Health Bar for some gooooood açai bowls:

The Easter Range is out already at Walmart, and it's amazing!
Definitely know where I'll be coming for my Easter deliciousness.

Monday was President's Day (go Obama) so we had no uni.

Went on an adventure out to Lanikai Beach:

Found a pretty frangipani on the way:

Then it was time to hike, and we got the best views!

We got driven back to Lanikai town in a nice as convertible.

Went to Lanikai Juice and I got the bomb as smoothie bowl. It was peanut butter, banana and chocolate, topped with banana, carob chips and chia seeds:

I made some awesome tacos, which actually got really good reviews from other members of the Y.

These little mini temple things are all over campus:

Went hiking to Manoa Falls again, and shopping, and walked past the best Tiffany & Co. store:

One day I will sit in a Tiffany-blue chair and be served tea while my diamonds are being looked at:

Bought some polka dot culotte shorts from Hollister:

Had the nicest cookie from Starbucks, was more like a brownie:

Yesterday morning we were meant to go for a hike but it was raining so I snuggled up in bed with my breakfast and a movie:

It was The Grand Budapest Hotel, I really liked it!
Hope it wins something in the Oscars tomorrow!

And then we went outlet shopping where I picked up a couple of things for some people.

Also got a scrumptious tofu and eggplant curry and spring rolls from Panda Express, which came with a fortune cookie!

At night, we hung out with some people on the North Shore.
They had a really cute German Shepherd!

His name was Duke.

Naaaaaaw.

The next few days I've gotta get into a bit of study for a few midterms coming up this week, gon' be fun!

So that's it for now!

Living the dream as always,

Madeleine
