Day 10 - Sea World, San Diego (Last Night in Anaheim)

Helloooo!

So... today we went to SeaWorld in San Diego.
It was cool, but think we were all a bit tired to get in the full mood.

A few animals we saw:

Flamingos!

They got released for a walk:

A beaver!

A poisonous dart frog:

We went on the Journey to Atlantis ride next and we got soaked :(

It was really fun, I just didn't like getting wet, because I'm a fun-sucker and a downer.
I liked the dryers at the end though:

All this craziness and wetness made me hungry, so Dad and I went and got smoothies:

On our travels, we saw a sea lion:

Next, the family moved onto the bat ray and shark pool. You got to touch them!

Mum being a bad ass, touching a shark:

We went and got seats (just out of the soak zone) for the dolphin show, which was crazy.
This guy sung us songs as an intro:

The dolphins all did cool flips and stuff, and the trainer people like, stood on their noses and rode them! It looked like so much fun.

There was also like, this whole trapeze act and parrots were flying round us and there were whales too.
Kate got a Shamu pretzel:

There were penguins:

Even cuter penguins:

And then there was Shamu.
This show wasn't as fun as the dolphin one, but it was still cool.

Naaaw and there was a little baby one following the mama orca:

Someone let Shamu out of it's pool:

While the others went to the shark encounter, Jack and I went on the Manta Ray roller coaster. That was so fast! So fun.

We also got to see the sharks though. Double score for Madeleine and Jack.

Aaaand by that time, we were Shamu'd out, so we drove back to Anaheim and had a late dinner at Taco Bell.

Dad also wanted me to mention that we passed by a police checkpoint where they were checking for Mexicans hiding in your car. I didn't see this, I was sleeping.

Back at the hotel now, last night here!
Then onto San Diego tomorrow. We probably should have stayed there tonight, but we had planned to take longer in Anaheim. Mum keeps reminding us how she stuffed up with this. But it ain't no problem mama!

Well, until next time folk brothers.

Byeeeee :)

Madeleine
