Day Eight in Anaheim!

Heellooooo!

I got into a better mood today after a morning round of retail therapy.
We got up, and were all a bit mish-moshy for breakfast.
Dad and Jack went down to Mimi's Cafe for toast, coffee and pancakes and they brought me back a berry smoothie.
Kate and Mum didn't have breakfast, but Kate had a cup of cinnamon sugar pretzel nuggets when we got to the Citadel outlets.

Pre-shopping explosion lift selfie:

On ze way to Citadel:

Outlets are so dangerous.

There are just shops of every brand. Everywhere.

Today's outlet haul:
Mum: Gap t-shirt and Gap hoodie.
Dad: Leather jacket from Wilson's Leather and an Eagle's t-shirt from Gap.
Jack: A pair of Nike Frees.
Kate: Gap hoodie (zipless) and Gap hoodie (zipful)
Madeleine: An Armani blazer and an Armani trench coat.
Kate and I also went to the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory where she got a peanut bear on a stick (stick of pretzel with caramel, chocolate and peanuts) and I got a caramel and chocolate covered marshmallow. Both scored very high yumminess ratings.

For lunch, I got los mucho nachos.
Here's a very appealing picture of them:

We had to race back to the bus because I was making my stressful last minute Armani purchases (and had to leave behind a really cool dress there!).

After some some swimming, facebooking and general chill time at the hotel, we were back out there, straight to California Adventure Park.

We turned into buuuugs!

The first ride we went on was a bit of a stretch for our thrill capacity. It was called Heimlich's Chew Chew Train. Much fright. So scare.
His stomach was so empty!

Kate enrolled in university at MU:

So proud :')

More photos from Bug's Land:

Kate and I made friends with Flick:

Next, we moved onto Car's Land in Radiator Springs:

Waited on Route 66 for quiiiite a long time:

And we rode the cars along an awesome track through the mountains:

Stopped inside Luigi's tyre store to check out our mean as wheels:

It was actually so cool. All the cars talk to you and it's just so realistic!
Then you race another car and you go super fast and up and down and it was great.

Having a great time:

Mater:

Omg Kate, Jack and I went on the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror:

Soooo good. Soooo freaky.

Need to go on this ferris wheel at some point:

We all had pizza for dinner and Mum had a chicken salad.
Then we wandered and continued our explorations throughout the park:

Look, it's Mr Potato Head!

Some pics of California Adventure at night:

Once back at le hotel, everyone shnuggled up into bed, Kate with her bf, Sully:

Aaaah, cozy.
Alright, more about our adventures tomorrow!

Peace out.
